Tablers we were a part of the Mega Fellowship of AREA 2. 6 KA DUM. 6 tables of Area 2 took Part. hey were MERT 30, MSRT 39, MART 100, 124, MSRT 159 and MKRT 181.
MKRT 181 won the Kriket by beating thier Arch rivals MERT 30 by 20 runs.
Tw Hriday Grandhi bowled the Last over with Mert wanting 24 to win of 6 balls.
Tr Lankesh was the Captain.
The Other events which took place were Volleyball and Throwball

There were totally 150 heads and 25 181ers

181ers at MSRT 39 Haloween Party hosted by tR Ajay Jalan and Vijay Challani

Ajay Jalan and Vijay Challani of MSRT 39 threw a awesome Haloween Party at the Taj Corramandel yesterday and the 181ers who were there enjoyed throughly, Everything was picture perfect for a halowwen party, The Decor, The Ambience, The Clothes, The props etc. Great Show Hosts

DINNER MEET OF THE SAIYA'S

Tablers,
BHAVESH of MKRT-181 and AMIT of MMRT -95 hosted thier joint dinner meet at the ACCORD metroplitan hotel on the 20th September 2008.
Chairman Punit of MMRT-95 and his conveners spoke about thier project and fund raising events of MMRT 95. They also fecilated the winners of the intertable Shuttle Tournament hosted by 42. The winners were Naresh,Heena,Punit and Shweta for various ebvents.
Chairman Mukesh of MKRT-181 and his conveners spoke about thier Fundraising event and the community service (Intertnational Coastal Clean Up Day with the Coast Guard of Chennai) which happened on the same morning where MKRT 181 were the main Sponsors. The Meeting was attented by Area Chairman Shaktivel Raja, Avc Prabhat, Ast Kaval, Ipc Rajesh Gupta Area Conveners like Ajay, Senthil and Many other Visiting Tablers.

MKRT 181 with Coast Guard on International Coastal Cleanup Day

The Madras Knights Round Table 181, were a part of a great initiative taken by the Indian Coast Guard to clean up the coastal area of Chennai Marina. The event was organized by Indian Coast Guard and there were close to 8000 students participating from all across colleges in Chennai. The cleanup was an initiative to promote Bio diversity and protection of the environmental eco system.

The tablers of MKRT 181 were available in large numbers with their circlers and were there to promote the initiative. Coast Guard Commander Vikram Parashar who had come to MKRT 181 with a proposal to sponsor the initiative thanked the chairman and tablers for their esteemed cooperation and effort.
MKRT 181 sponsored a total of Rs 1, 00,000 of which Area HT Sanjay Ramaswami sponsored Rs 50,000, Chairman Mukesh sponsored Rs 20,000 and the table of 181 sponsored Rs 30,000.
The event was on the 20th of September 2008 at the Marina Beach and the event was flagged off by the Chief Coast Guard. The event started at 7 am and went on it 11 AM.
Students from Loyola, WCC , SRM , Gurunanak College and many other institutions were a pat of it, They collected a lot of waste and bio degradable matter of which the data and statistics were reported. There was a competition conducted among the colleges and the results of the competition were based on the team size, motivation, slogan and data collected.
MKRT 181 received wonderful publicity via print and news media. We were covered by Jaya TV, Sun TV and Win TV. On print media our publicity was done on the Hindu and the times of India.
MKRT 181 thanked the coast guard commandment for the wonderful opportunity given and looked forward to a healthy relationship in the future towards similar initiatives.

When MKRT-181 DANCES

Tablers,
When we dance we make evrybody around us dance. Thats what happened at the area Agm Informal Night. We knights dressed up as DON's For the dress theme and for the retro goes remix dance competition our theme was JAWANI DEEWANI.
The BIG DON Was our Ht Sanjay Ramaswami and the Particpants for the Dance were, Ch Mukesh, Ipc Rajiv and Dhwani, Tr Pratik, Rahul with Bhavana, Bhavesh with Neeta, Lankesh with Shubha and Hamir with Jidnyasa, We had a super performance from all the guys and Gals, We won the best dressed team on th stage,

Award Nights Party From IPC RAJIV SHAH

Rajiv Shah our IPC celebrated the Awards we MKRTians won at the Area Agm by throwing a party on Saturday night. We Knights rocked throughout the night and Rajiv made sure Guests and Tablers did the wierdest and naughtiest things. Prem of 162 and Ashish with some of our tables were made to do pole dance. I am sure all the tablers will remember the Night.

AWARDS DISTRIBUTION

KNIGHTS AND TABLERS,
IPC Rajiv Shah Distributed the Awards we won at the AREA 2 for the year 2007-2008 under the chairmanship of Tr Rajiv.
We won Five awards in toto and three certificate of merits.The Awards were for BALANCED ACTIVITY , PUBLICITY, BLOG PUBLICITY and GREETING CARDS. We won the certificate of merits for COMMUNITY SEVICE, FELLOWSHIP AND MAGAZINE. We also won the award Best Costume on Stage and Award for Maximum registration for the Area Agm.

29th AREA 2 AGM AWARDS NIGHT 07.09.08

Knights Rocked the Awards Night at the Area 2 AGM 08 held at Hotel Park Sheraton. We won four awards and three certificate of merits for our work done in the year 07-08 during the chairman ship of TR RAJIV SHAH. Great Job Rajiv and His conveners. Also congrats to three of our tablers who are now on the AREA Board 2008-2009. The way we celebrate a Tablers Birthday in 181

MKRt-181 is a family who love to celebrate our Tablers and Circlers Birthdays. Thats what we did last night at the practice session. We celebrated Tr Rahul Suprise birthday Party with a few tablers from MSRT 39. The party went on till 1 A.M and then we practiced our dance once again for the Area Agm 2008.
You will see in the photos how tablers have gone to sleep on the dance floor at around 3 A.M exhausted.

Dance Fellowship

Tablers and Circlers,
With the Area agm on the door, the dance practice sessions are on everynight and fellowship in and with MKRT -181 is rocking everynight at the Dance Practice centre. Here are few of the photographs which show the bonding and fellowship in 181 itself and 181's friendship and fellowship with other tables of area 2 like MSRT-159 and table 39 who happen to practice at the same centre.
