Hey guys today Rajeshwar and I went for the recording for the show BIG BOSS which is aired every Sunday on 92.7 BIG FM. Rajeshwar was simply brilliant during recording for a first timer andd a person who had always jitters to hold a mike. It is an out and out recording where only Rajeshwar spoke about RT India organisation, us and Siragu. This will be aired on July 1st between 11am and 1pm where there will be different parts between songs where you will here Raj speaking about us. Believe me it is going to be a major publicity for Round Table India in Chennai...

Madras Knights Round Table 181 Generates Publicity with School Inauguration

Tablers of MKRT 181 recently had the inauguration of the 2 classroom block at their long term project Siragu Montessori School. With This 2 Classroom the total number of classrooms built by MKRT 181 moves to 11 and totally 600 under privileged children are benefiting from the same. These Children are kids of Beggars and Brick Kiln Workers from around the area...
The event was covered by various local newspapers and Media and has generated a Lot of Publicity for Round Table India and the School

Greetings from MKRT 181 ! Under our efforts towards publicity this year about our organization and what good we do for underprivileged please find below some write ups we got in a few local news papers & magazines about our organization and how a school like Siragu is getting benefited because of our organization with 181 as one of its representative.  The coverage so far we have got is initially an internet news channel called Ottran Cheithi and then trinity Mirror, Nungai Times,Makkal Kural,Chennai Metro, Alwarpet times, Dinakaran magazine edition etc…. We will be having some more coverages in both print media and also an interview on Radio Big FM Chennai.

The Twinklers Convener Tr Ram is doing a Great JoB at MKRt 181 and the Kids and their Mothers especially are loving it.
8th June 2012 was another great day for the Twinklers of MKRT 181 as Tr Ram took them to 2 Back to Back 5d Movies where the experienced 5D effects for 6 minutes each and then to Great Animated Movie called the Lorax at Escape Cinemas in Express Avenue Mall
15 twinklers and their Mothers went to the Movies....
Circler Benazir's Birthday was celebrated at the Mall by all the 181 members...

Madras Knights Round Table 181 Publicize Round Table India though Local Media On Inauguration

Publicity being a very Important Aspect  to promote  any organization and especially an NGO. Right Publicity takes things forward .
The Tablers of MKRT 181 inaugurated a 2 Classroom Block on sunday the 3rd of June. Local Media Ottran Cheithi which is a Online New Media in Tamil and is quite famous in down south  has covered the Event very well on the web and its media

Social Activist Uma Muthuraman efforts make “Madras Knights” donate new block for “Siragu” school:

Pazhavedupettai is a village near Avadi in Chennai. Shastri Nagar and Morai are two neighboring villages of Pazhavedupettai which are considered as most deprived background. Mrs. Uma Muthuraman of "Suyam Charitable Trust" started a school few years back named as “Siragu Montessori School”. This school provides IGCSA education with a medium of English. The motto of Siragu is to educate students below poverty level at free of cost.  Morai village is populated with beggars and Siragu efforts to educate their children at free of cost .   Till May 2012 the school was able to accommodate only 400 students and now after the construction of the new block, the school can be able to accommodate 600 students.
Since the school needed a new building to expand its infrastructure, Mrs. Uma Muthuraman and her husband Mr.Muthuraman a social activist approached “Madras Knights – Round Table 181” a non-political and a non-profitable organization for construction of a new block.  Considering their request “Madras Knights” decided to donate Siragu by constructing  new block and the same was done with an average cost of Rs.10 Lakhs with a construction area of 800 sq.ft with two class rooms.
The new block was inaugurated on 3rd June 2012.  Under the Charmanship of Mr. Vinay Grandhi, “Madras Knights – Round Table 181” in association with RC Infinity and Round Table India took initiative for the construction of the new block.  Members of Madras Knights along with their family members graced the inaugural function of Siragu’s new block.  Muthu, RJ of Big FM compared the event and Kanmani, took care of the full event.
Let the efforts of “Suyam Charitable Trust” and “Siragu Montessori School” continue.

Madras Knights Round Table 181 Inaugurate 2 Classroom at Siragu

Siragu' Suyam Montessori School a Long term Project of MKRT 181 increased their strength form 400 to 600 with the two new classrooms constructed and Handed Over to them on Sunday 3rd june 2012 By the tablers of MKRT 181
MKRT 181 has been associated with Siragu from the start and Have constructed totally 11 Classrooms for them with a Cost of over 30 Lakhs. Bringing about smiles on the faces of 600 under privileged children of Brick Kiln workers and Beggars really bring about smiles on the faces of Tablers and Criclers of 181 too.
Area 2 Chairman Tr Sandy and Area 2 Vice Chairman Tr Gitesh were the Chief Guest and guest of Honor respectively. People of the Press and media were also present for the occasion...

Dear Friends,

I am happy to announce MKRT 181 had inaugurated 2 new class rooms as an edition to the new block of Siaragu Montesori school yesterday on the 3rd of June 2012. It was a pleasure having Area Chairman Sandy as our Chief Guest and AVC Gitesh as our guest of honor. We had all together 12 Trs, 1 HT , 9 ladies and 8 twinklers in total 30 heads from 181's family present for the ceremony. It was a great feeling yet again to know that we were helping a well deserved school lead by a very dynamic lady Mrs.Uma Muthuraman and her husband Mr.Muthuraman . With this addition of 2 classrooms now the school can educate about 600 children. IN the past we have built 9 class rooms in a different block for the same school. Out of the 2 class rooms we are contributing now one class room they are dedicating it for ICONOWRITE activities _ a Few words to understand- Iconowrite is a word art form, Mr.Robinson is the founder of the same and Siragu is the World's first school which adopted Iconowrite into curriculum and activities being brought into special curriculum. A recent Hindu news paper article is self explanatory to know about the concept. http://www.thehindu.com/todays-paper/tp-features/tp-downtown/article3292163.ece .The other class room will be utilised for 6th std. Siragu will be the first school in India to be adapting this method of education. We are all also praying that the schools vision of getting recognized for ICSE board gets fulfilled ASAP. Yesterday we also contributed one set of school uniform material for about 150 children who stay in the hostel.

Tablers of MKRT 181 with all the Help from Chairman TR Vinay Grandhi who has worked Hard to get the ROUND TABLE INDIA Publicity Promotion videos certified by the censor board of India has taken it one step further by getting this video Screened in one of the Most Prominent Cinema Theatres in Chennai Sathuam Cinemas which has over 10 Screens and the Promotion Video " The Magician" will be played for over a week before every Movie Show .
