Mkrt 181 had its first dinner meet of the year Hosted by Cr Vineeta and Tr Mukesh at their Home on the 30.07.11

The One of its Kind Dinner Meet Social where there was not only fellowship. But also a active LAPD session with vision wheel Exercise being done by Tr Vinay

Dear Friends,

The first dinner meet of this tabling year 11-12 of MKRT 181 was a total blast. This meet was hosted by Tr.Mukesh and Vineeta. This was a pajama party and relax we did. We were in total about 17 couples with about 15 children in total about 50 plus people. The meeting started a little late and was a little long too than usual dinner meets because of some important agendas to complete. The moment the meeting ended the hosts house buzzing with music and talking and loud yelling by the kids. On request of the host there was a a simple but a fun game was played with music. It was nothing other than that each lady had to come centre stage choose one Tabler other than her better half :) and dance to the song being played. This was real fun as there was major confusion as each lady had to choose with what they were left with i.e. the great we Tablers. The pictures below speak for them selves. The hospitality as usual was brilliant by the hosts of the night and the food catered by Dhaba Express was simply yummy. Over all the night was a blast and good way to kick start this year'd dinner meets thanks to Mukesh and Vineeta. Together we friends really freaked out this Pajama Party.

2011-2012 first fellowship

MKRT 181 starts off its new tabling year 2011-2012 with a fellowship.

How true is this saying" Zindagi Miley na Dobara" we all realized this after watching the Film.

Dear Friends,

22nd July 2011 MKRT 181 experienced its 1st fellowship of the yr 11-12 starting . 181'rs came in as 3 generations & finally we totaled up to 48 heads with 13 tablers + 1 HT + 14 ladies with 13 kids & 7 other family members...As we watched the movie Zindagi Na Mile Dobara we rolled in laughter & also registered that " When you live life live it the way you want to and live it for today !!! ". By intermission the spirits of every 181r were on a high and we already started making plans towards destination "SPAIN" & by the end of the movie we were all set for some sky diving & all set to take part in this awesome festival "La Tomatina " involved with a lot of squeezing,swinging and throwing of tomato's on people :) After the movie we all gathered at the lobby of the theater and took few pics, where we found that some of the Papas amongst us already started trying to score brownie points with the Mammas so that they could go for this all boys trip being planned which is being planned...23rd of July happens to be Nidhi's b'day who is Tr.Amith's wife's & hence we all sang for her the birth day song drawing the attention of the on lookers & ended this awesome 1st fellowship of the year 2011-12 with a big smile on our faces...

Madras Knights Round Table 181 Charter night Celebrations with Parents

MKRT 181 Celebrated its 7th Charter night on the 30th Of June 2011 at Hotel Residency Towers but with a difference.
This time we invited our parents and give them a evening to remember. We showcased what we do and gave them the insight of the Projects that Round Table India Does.
The Twinklers of MKRT 181 Showcased their talents in front of the Grand Parents. We Tablers circlers and Twinklers felicitated our Parents with Small Moments.
The Elders had a Fantastic Fellowship and Bonding as many of them were meeting for the first time.
It was a big Family Fellowship event of MKRT 181. Many of the Elders expressed their happiness by contributing towards our Project Account and their desire of doing this more Often in the Table.

Madras Knights Round Table 181 Inaugurates 5 Classroom Block at Manali

Tablers and Circlers,
Madras Knights Round Table 181 on its Charter Day 30/06/11 inaugurated the recently built 5 Classroom block in Vivekanada Vidyalaya school In Manali.
With This we have Completed 30 Classrooms in the Last 6 years of Tabling
Seven of Us Chairman Mahesh, First lady Cr Sarika ( The Chief Guest) Vc Vinay, Project Convener Tr Gaurav, Tr Mukesh, Tr Sunil and me met up Tr Suman Voora Area Project Convener went to the school and Inaugurated the Project.
The Students were happy as they got 5 new Classrooms to the School

Great going Project Convener Tr Gaurav for the Speedy completion of the Project.

MKRT 181 had a great Community Service on the day of its memorable 181st Meeting that is 7th of May 2011 with AHT Amit Saiya, Tablers of 181 and Other Guests of MKRT 181
People who attended the service are
Guest of Honour Dr Amit Saiya
Sameer , Mukesh , Rajeshwar , Kamala Kannan , Balaji , Gaurav , Ganesh ,Shyam and Guest Ram.
The Details of the Community Service are as Follows
MKRT181 donated Rs.14,480 towards expenses for breakfast, lunch and dinner for 181 inmates of Sri Matha Trust on May 7th.

Fellowship at MKRT 181 for the World Cup Finals

Tablers and Circlers,

MKRT 181 had a great fellowship watching INDIA win the prestigious ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 after 28 years since it last won it in 1983.
The MKRT 181 family met up at Hotel Quality INN Sabari on the 2nd April at around 5 pm to witness the Second Half of the game with INDIA Batting.

The Emotions were on Low when an Indian Wicket Fell but it was all Smiles, Cheers, Screaming when the Indian Batsmen started hitting the bowlers for Boundaries
The Tablers, Circlers and the twinklers altogether 45 heads were in great emotions when we Mahendra Singh Dhoni hit the winning six and Won the World Cup for INDIA

This time the table has been divided by 5 groups of 4 tablers each with wives and Kids to meet up at houses

We met on the 12th March Saturday at My place for a small get together.
The Fellowship Started off with Jaideep Cracking a great joke session on each other
It was a great session of bonding as the guys were busy watching the India- South Africa match and the Ladies were busy gossiping and The Kids they had thier own great time playing Video games- Cricket Etc

For the First time we had a JOINT Mid term Meet with Three Areas Participating, Area 2, Area 6 and Area 10.

We had a Six Tablers ging to Mysore for the MTM

Lapd Session 2 at MKRT 181 on know Your Tablers

MKRT 181’s Second HRD or LAPD session for the year 2010-11 was held on the 2nd Of February 2011 at Citrus Quality Inn Aruna

Contuining on "KNOW YOUR FELLOW TABLERS AT MKRT 181 we had Three New Speaker and a Guest Speaker in National Vice President Ashwini Kumar Hemdev from Mysore Round Table 21


There were four speakers for the Day and they were

NVP. Tr Ashwini Hemdev , Tr Rajiv Shah , Tr Kamalakannan & Tr Gaurav Bajaj.

The Topic and the Points Given to them were

The Session was very engrossing and interesting and we all got to know more about these tablers, which we never knew. Some of us got fresh ideas how we should be taking these inputs.

There was no specific theme but the party rocked hard and all of us at 181 and the visiting tablers from other tablers had a great time.

Bhoomi Pooja of a 5 Classroom Project at Vivekananda School

We 181 ers did a Bhoomi Pooja for a new Project of 5 Classrooms at the
Vivekananda Vidhalaya School , Manali on 26th January.

We had tablers , Principal , Vice Principal, Correspondant and the
President Vivekanada Educational Trustas a part of the gathering.

This was Followed by a Cultural event by the Kids of the school

This is a fresh start for MKRT 181 with a new Project and we hope to do many more this year

Jid & Hamir Dinner Meet Social

On 22nd January 2011 Jid and yours truly(Hamir) had thier dinner meet at Rain Tree Hotel Alwarpet. The Theme for the evening was "Dresses of The World". We had given each couple a specific theme to dress up to.

We Had Winners for the best dressed
In The Individual level we had
Cr Shweta Grandhi- As a Japanese Girl
Cr Sonu Kavalpreet Singh as a Gujrati Girl
In The Couple we had Sameer and Jaya as the African Couple.

We as the Hosts had dressed up the " Egyptian Couple"
We also Celebrated Cr Bhawana and Tr Rahul's Anniversary

All in all we at MKRT 181 had a great time.

1st HRD for the year 2010-2011

MKRT 181’s first HRD or LAPD session for the year 2010-11 was held on the 5th Of January 2011 at Tr Balaji’s Residence.
This was done with the Help of Tr Gitesh Agarwal, Area 2 HRD convener
Since we are the youngest table of Area 2. Just 7 year into being we took up a very basic Topic and that was “ Know Your Friends at MKRT 181”

Fellowship and Celebrations of 181 During Amith and Nidhi's Wedding

Tablers and Circlers,
Our Tabler Amith Mehta got married to Nidhi on the 8th Of December 2010. The Wedding Took Place at GRT Temple Bay resorts. We 181 ers stayed over Two Nights at the venue and had some amazing Fellowship, Bonding and Celebrations.

The Guys, Gals and Kids had a great time at the beach,zorbing swimming etc and in the evenings the whole table with circlers and twinklers were present for the functions.
