Publicity is a key thing for Tabling

Heres the latest inductee of MKRT 181 with another tabler of Area 2 who went Cycling on ECR road on sunday 18th September for 28 Kms
Reaxion Cycling Club in Chennai is on a mission to revive cycling.
They organized a cycling competition from Thiruvanmayur to
Mahabalipuram (about 45km) sponsored by BSA. The goal was to select
the top 10 cyclists from this race for the grand cycling race in the
Himalayas next month.

In spite of the heavy rain from the weather gods that night about one
hundred and fifty (150) enthusiastic participants showed up for the
competition on Sunday, September 18 at 4.30 a.m.

Because of the rain the race flagged off from the first toll gate on
ECR, the distance was 28km. We were accompanied by an ambulance and
safety cars for assistance. We were provided with Energy Bars,
Glucose and Water at the checkpoints. I made sure that at every check
point I talked to everyone about MKRT's Logo on my shirt and spread
the good word called "Tabling".

I did this Hercules City Challenge up to Temple Bay (Mahabs) on a
bicycle before. This time it was very special because I was wearing
the Round Table MKRT181's T-Shirt and the other reason is I finished
it after partying hard at Tr. Kaval's (Area 2 IPC) Social till 1:30am
at ALOFT. I must admit that I am kinda proud of myself, I honestly
did not believe that I would make it. At the end of it all a
chartered bus brought us back to the starting point (I slept through
the whole bus ride)...

First Inter table of the year Event Cock a doodle tournament

Sunday 11th September was the 1st Intertable event of the year "Cock a Table Do" Badminton tournament organized by MMRT 42 at Sterling Club

181ers had a Good Day with 4 singles teams and 2 double teams Particpating.

Induction:
Prospective Mr. Ram Swaroop was inducted as a Tabler of MKRT 181, by the Chief Guest cum Area Observer Tr. Prasad Vijayakumar, as per the protocol.
Tr. Ram Swaroop was also handed over the LMF plaque and jewel by Tr. Prasad.

Felicitation of Retiring Tablers:
Chairman Tr. Mahesh informed the table that Tr. Sameer Rasane, one of our Charter Tabler, is to retire this year. This would be the 2nd retirement at MKRT 181 since Charter. He requested Tr. Gaurav and Tr. Mukesh to speak a few words on Tr. Sameer.

Tr. Sameer then came forward and addressed the table for the last time as an active tabler of MKRT 181. He was then handed the retirement plaque and beer mug by the Chief Guest Tr. Prasad

MKRT 181 on a Fellowship Spree

One Bajaj Brothers rocked the Auto Industry by Humara Bajaj and The Other Bajaj's That is Sunil and Gaurav are Rocking 181 with Back to back fellowships.

Fellowship is one Aspect without which we cannot serve.

MKRT 181 had its Second fellowship for the year on Friendship day.

Hola Amigos !

Yesterday the 6th of Aug we Amigos of MKRT 81 had our 3rd fellowship of the year 11-12. This time an all boys evening and we partied hard in the Spanish style @ Zaras. We were 10 of us from MKRT 181 celebrating the Friendship day week end. We were 8 Trs and 1 HT and 1 guest amongst other Trs of 95 and 162 and many other Amigos of Chennai ... We had a blast !!! Even though we consumed less spirits but it was enough for us to reach a trance state with some of us becoming really friendly with the wash room :) … Over all the evening was a blast !!! Thanks to the incoming fellowship conveners the Bajaj Duos Sunil and Gaurav . Boys let us do many more such fellowships and make our strings of Friendship much stronger….

Happy Friendship day to all the rest of our friends in Area 2 from MKRT 181 !!!

MKRT 181s 1st dinner meet social a FELLOWSHIP, LAPD EXCERCISE all Together

Mkrt 181 had its first dinner meet of the year Hosted by Cr Vineeta and Tr Mukesh at their Home on the 30.07.11

The One of its Kind Dinner Meet Social where there was not only fellowship. But also a active LAPD session with vision wheel Exercise being done by Tr Vinay

Dear Friends,

The first dinner meet of this tabling year 11-12 of MKRT 181 was a total blast. This meet was hosted by Tr.Mukesh and Vineeta. This was a pajama party and relax we did. We were in total about 17 couples with about 15 children in total about 50 plus people. The meeting started a little late and was a little long too than usual dinner meets because of some important agendas to complete. The moment the meeting ended the hosts house buzzing with music and talking and loud yelling by the kids. On request of the host there was a a simple but a fun game was played with music. It was nothing other than that each lady had to come centre stage choose one Tabler other than her better half :) and dance to the song being played. This was real fun as there was major confusion as each lady had to choose with what they were left with i.e. the great we Tablers. The pictures below speak for them selves. The hospitality as usual was brilliant by the hosts of the night and the food catered by Dhaba Express was simply yummy. Over all the night was a blast and good way to kick start this year'd dinner meets thanks to Mukesh and Vineeta. Together we friends really freaked out this Pajama Party.

MKRT 181 starts off its new tabling year 2011-2012 with a fellowship.

How true is this saying" Zindagi Miley na Dobara" we all realized this after watching the Film.

Dear Friends,

22nd July 2011 MKRT 181 experienced its 1st fellowship of the yr 11-12 starting . 181'rs came in as 3 generations & finally we totaled up to 48 heads with 13 tablers + 1 HT + 14 ladies with 13 kids & 7 other family members...As we watched the movie Zindagi Na Mile Dobara we rolled in laughter & also registered that " When you live life live it the way you want to and live it for today !!! ". By intermission the spirits of every 181r were on a high and we already started making plans towards destination "SPAIN" & by the end of the movie we were all set for some sky diving & all set to take part in this awesome festival "La Tomatina " involved with a lot of squeezing,swinging and throwing of tomato's on people :) After the movie we all gathered at the lobby of the theater and took few pics, where we found that some of the Papas amongst us already started trying to score brownie points with the Mammas so that they could go for this all boys trip being planned which is being planned...23rd of July happens to be Nidhi's b'day who is Tr.Amith's wife's & hence we all sang for her the birth day song drawing the attention of the on lookers & ended this awesome 1st fellowship of the year 2011-12 with a big smile on our faces...

Madras Knights Round Table 181 Charter night Celebrations with Parents

MKRT 181 Celebrated its 7th Charter night on the 30th Of June 2011 at Hotel Residency Towers but with a difference.
This time we invited our parents and give them a evening to remember. We showcased what we do and gave them the insight of the Projects that Round Table India Does.
The Twinklers of MKRT 181 Showcased their talents in front of the Grand Parents. We Tablers circlers and Twinklers felicitated our Parents with Small Moments.
The Elders had a Fantastic Fellowship and Bonding as many of them were meeting for the first time.
It was a big Family Fellowship event of MKRT 181. Many of the Elders expressed their happiness by contributing towards our Project Account and their desire of doing this more Often in the Table.

Madras Knights Round Table 181 on its Charter Day 30/06/11 inaugurated the recently built 5 Classroom block in Vivekanada Vidyalaya school In Manali.
With This we have Completed 30 Classrooms in the Last 6 years of Tabling
Seven of Us Chairman Mahesh, First lady Cr Sarika ( The Chief Guest) Vc Vinay, Project Convener Tr Gaurav, Tr Mukesh, Tr Sunil and me met up Tr Suman Voora Area Project Convener went to the school and Inaugurated the Project.
The Students were happy as they got 5 new Classrooms to the School

Fellowship at MKRT 181 for the World Cup Finals

Tablers and Circlers,

MKRT 181 had a great fellowship watching INDIA win the prestigious ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 after 28 years since it last won it in 1983.
The MKRT 181 family met up at Hotel Quality INN Sabari on the 2nd April at around 5 pm to witness the Second Half of the game with INDIA Batting.

The Emotions were on Low when an Indian Wicket Fell but it was all Smiles, Cheers, Screaming when the Indian Batsmen started hitting the bowlers for Boundaries
The Tablers, Circlers and the twinklers altogether 45 heads were in great emotions when we Mahendra Singh Dhoni hit the winning six and Won the World Cup for INDIA

MKRT 181’s Second HRD or LAPD session for the year 2010-11 was held on the 2nd Of February 2011 at Citrus Quality Inn Aruna

Contuining on "KNOW YOUR FELLOW TABLERS AT MKRT 181 we had Three New Speaker and a Guest Speaker in National Vice President Ashwini Kumar Hemdev from Mysore Round Table 21

The Session was very engrossing and interesting and we all got to know more about these tablers, which we never knew. Some of us got fresh ideas how we should be taking these inputs.
